In a much needed boost to the resident dolphin population who live in our inland waterways, ten little calves were born during the 2024/2025 calving season.
Such a large number of births occurs infrequently, only every few years in Mandurah.
The calves have been named Harmony, Naia, Ocean, Bubbles, Sparki, Twinkle, Stripe (deceased after birth), Highlight, Pearl, and Winter

In the smaller coastal semi resident population 6 births occurred. Robin (deceased), Cosmo, Indigo, Bailey, Sunny, and Beau (stillborn).

All these precious calves are a huge part of the future of the wild dolphin population in our waters
By celebrating these new lives, we also acknowledge the immense privilege of living here and our shared responsibility to safeguard our beautiful wildlife, who also call Mandurah home.
Let's do all we can to protect them.
